(Milwaukee, WI) The JVA is pleased to announce that Maggie Griffin has been re-elected to the JVA Board of Directors. Maggie is the Owner and Director of VCNebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Maggie has an extensive volleyball background as a Director and player. She founded VCNebraska in 2011 while coaching for her alma mater at the University of Nebraska. Since her club's formation, the program has grown from 4 teams in 2011 to over 40 teams in 2019, including regional and competitive options, a youth program, and an extensive camp program that spans the state of Nebraska. Maggie has been an instrumental part of the JVA's growth in the state of Nebraska. In 2017 she was awarded the AVCA 30 under 30. VCNebraska is currently in the process of a project that will include a brand new, state of the art 12 court multi sport facility set to open in 2019.
"We are happy to welcome Maggie back for another three years on our Board" shares JVA Executive Director Jenny Hahn. "Maggie has been a great addition. She not only brought her vast experience with club volleyball but has been invaluable as our Treasurer this past year."

Even before joining the Board, Maggie shared numerous resources for JVA's education in the areas of business and accounting. She has also presented on JVA's behalf at the AVCA Convention.
"I am thrilled to be re-elected to the JVA Board and continue to share ideas, problems, and solutions to the JVA community and staff" states Maggie. "After having met so many talented individuals in the past 3 years, I am even more energized by the connections and discussions that have taken place most recently at the AVCA convention.
